承接上文,本節以ICMP和TCP為例介紹與網路相關的部分內容。

Icmp的探測
首先看下促使我學習bcc的這篇文章中的程式traceicmpsoftirq.py,使用該程式的本意是找出對ping響應的程序位於哪個CPU core上,然後使用perf
掃描該core,找出造成網路延遲的原因。原始碼如下:

上面程式對icmp_echo
核心函式進行打點探測,當核心執行該函式時會執行自定義的函式probe_icmp
,並獲取當前的tgid,pid以及icmp報文的序列號。
內容如下:

my_skb_transport_header
:該函式通過偏移sk_buff指標獲取傳輸層首部地址,用於後續獲取icmp首部的序列號。此處的操作可以直接參考static bool icmp_echo(struct sk_buff *skb)

skb_transport_header
的處理與本程式的方式是一樣的,將該函式的實現直接移植過去即可。需要注意的是,不能直接呼叫核心函式skb_transport_header
獲取transport_header
的地址。 -
bpf_get_current_pid_tgid()

因此以本程式為例,如果對icmp_echo的打點採集中如果發生了上下文切換,可能
bpf_get_current_pid_tgid
獲取到的可能是切換後的程式。本文也是藉助這種機制,發現在切換到cadvisor
導致了網路延時。 -

:讀取核心結構體的成員,原文中使用的是bpf_probe_read

上面C程式採集了核心資料skp->sk_common.skc_dport,skp->sk_common.skc_rcv_saddr和skp->__sk_common.skc_daddr。與第一個例子類似,這類資料可以直接參考tcp_v4_connect核心原始碼的實現,原始碼中通過struct inet_sock *inet = inet_sk(sk);
來獲取源目的地址和埠,inet_sock的結構體定義如下,可以明顯看到inet_daddr,inet_rcv_saddr和inet_dport與上述程式碼獲取的內容相同,進而可以瞭解到獲取這些成員的方式。

整體看,上面程式碼使用了python處理了一些C程式的替換和拼接,大部分跟可觀測性並沒有什麼不同,當然,最主要的還是需要了解核心處理流程,選擇正確的核心函式進行打點。
