今天安裝Rocky Linux居然翻車了，在進到系統引導介面後，選擇“Install Rocky Linux 8” ，就開始黑屏，螢幕沒有任何輸出。

於是各種懷疑，Esxi版本，Linux光碟，系統配置，相容性等等，依次檢查。

環境：

6.7.0 Update 3 (Build 19195723) 已升級到最新
Rocky Linux release 8.5

配置：

Guest OS : Linux
Guest OS Version : Other 4.x or later Linux (64-bit)
Boot Options  — Whether or not to enable UEFI secure boot for this VM   取消勾選
（如果預設勾選，系統啟動的時候會提示  EFI stub：UEFI Secure boot is enabled，無法繼續安裝）

最後懷疑相容性問題，https://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/detail.php?deviceCategory=Software&productid=53603&vcl=true&supRel=369,396,448,428,485,518,508,427&testConfig=16

檢視storage的相容性：

controller location 改為STAT controller ，問題解決。

在全部安裝完成後，安裝open-vm-tools以及其他配置。
