Amazon’s gov cloud contract is dangerous for entrenched government contractors. Since contract award there has been a stream of negative news about Amazon’s cloud capabilities. They started around the time research for this story began.

The 17 sources is irrelevant because the government is littered with officials dependent on relationships with contractors to find future employment.

The sick thing about these type of cons, they are effective because they can’t be officially denied and are difficult to verify. A handful of conspirators only need to feed bad information to a group of stooges.

Bloomberg should analyze their sources to identify personal/business relationships among those sources, something that is rarely done. Because of the nature of government contracting there will be connections that can be considered financial in nature. The question will be, how recent and how long have those connections existed?
