It gets power from the USB, and the keys all appear to work (or at least all receive power), but multiple OS's won't recognize it when plugged in.

I'd like to replace the main cable as a final effort. Local shops, eBay, and other online outlets haven't proven fruitful. Would anyone here happen to have an extra cable from their own broken model or know where to get one? Or even know where to get a broken model so I can test possibly multiple components on the cheap?
