I’m a big believer in passive investing & indices. As a cryptocurrency investor, I was pretty upset to see that there weren’t any good options to index the entire market.

Most available solutions have at least one of these issues.

1. Restricted to accredited investors (Coinbase Index)

2. Didn’t track the market well (C20 token price fluctuates around NAV. No mechanism to remove premium)

3. Liquidity issues - no way to exit the market quickly

I came up with a slightly different solution. You use a Binance account to mirror the market index. It rebalances every week so your portfolio is consistent with the index. Since it’s on your account, you retain control of the underlying assets. You can exit whenever.

Obviously, the biggest risk here is leaving your assets on an exchange. But a ton of people are doing that already and Binance has proven themselves to be on the most reliable & security-conscious exchanges.

Currently, there are 4 different indices available:

1. HODL10

2. HODL20

3. HODL30

4. Coinbase Index

If you don’t like any of the indices, you can also create your own custom portfolio, backtest, and execute it with any of the 350+ coins on Binance
