I just noticed something on Youtube now, although in my research it seems to have been going on since at least early August, that Youtube is now linking to "authoritative" sources for some topical subjects. If you look to see why you get this click on "Why am I seeing this?" it links here - https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/9004474?hl=en . That page says "Note: This feature is currently available only in the United States."
