Unchained

Hosted by Laura Shin,

Senior Editor at Forbes, the Unchained Podcast is a must for anyone interested in blockchain. Shin has leveraged her Forbes’ position to get big name entrepreneurs, technologists, investors and thinkers to sit down for an interview. The podcast aims to “educate people on how blockchains will change the way we earn, spend and invest our money.”

Having covered crypto, blockchains and the web 3.0 for quite a while, Shin has a sharp interviewing mind and this pays dividends for the listener. Some episodes are great for beginners and others will keep more knowledgeable folk happy.

The only drawback is that episodes are released once every two weeks, which is quite a long time in the crypto-universe.

The Bitcoin Podcast Network

The Bitcoin Podcast is one of the ‘originals’ and hands-down one of the best sources of information on the crypto market available online today. The show was originally a standalone entity but has since shifted into its current form: a wider network of podcasts, media, and related crypto content known as The Bitcoin Podcast Network.

The Bitcoin Podcast team consists of high-level business consultants, PhDs and mathematicians. The full lineup can be seen here. With over 140 episodes, the show has an enormous catalogue of content and guests are pulled from all corners of the cryptocurrency community. The topics tend to focus on the more technical side of things.

Note: The Bitcoin Podcast is generally longer form, with most episodes lasting well over 100 minutes.

The Third Web

Hosted by freelance blockchain consultant and crypto observer, Arthur Falls, The Third Web (formerly: The Ether Review) is one of the best places to hear about “the world computer”, Ethereum. The show features news, opinions, analysis and expert interviews from the world of Ethereum and blockchain. Each episode is relatively short (most range between 20–45 minutes) but dig into some of the most interesting Ethereum-related themes.

Epicenter

Epicenter is a weekly podcast that provides a platform for industry people to have in-depth discussions about blockchain projects, new developments, ideas, and stories.

Every week, hosts Brian Fabian Crain, Sebastien Couture and Meher Roy bring you in-depth conversations with some of the brightest minds in this emerging ecosystem of startups and open source projects. Their guests, which range from entrepreneurs, to academics, to industry experts, join the conversation from different locations around the globe, which gives Epicenter a truly international scope. Epicenter is less about casual conversations and news and more about really digging deep into various crypto-topics.

Coin Mastery

Coin Mastery is a great resource for staying up to date on the latest cryptocurrency news and market updates. Hosted by investor and marketer Carter Thomas, Coin Mastery summarizes the most important Bitcoin and cryptocurrency news of the day, including basic explanations of important investing concepts and technical analysis. Some people may be intimidated by the trader-themed discussion but for anyone with a working knowledge of blockchain, this is a great source to learn from.
