此工具能做啥?

Kafka的partition表示併發度的單元：一個topic的訊息可以分佈到多個partition上，並存儲在多個server上。一旦建立了一個topic，就要指定這個topic的partition數。在topic的資料量增加時需要增加更多的partition，此工具幫助我們為某個指定的topic增加更多的partition，並可以手動的為增加的partition分配replica。此工具現在只在0.8分支提供。

如何使用？

bin/kafka-add-partitions.sh

                                          to the topic
--replica-assignment-list               For manually assigning replicas to
  <broker_id_for_part1_replica1 :         brokers for the new partitions

  broker_id_for_part2_replica1 :
  broker_id_for_part2_replica2, ...>
--topic <topic>                         REQUIRED: The topic for which
                                          partitions need to be added.
--zookeeper <urls>                      REQUIRED: The connection string for
                                          the zookeeper connection in the form
                                          host:port. Multiple URLS can be
                                          given to allow fail-over.
