Jon Kern，敏捷宣言的作者之一，他曾在TogetherSoft公司（UML工具Together的開發商，2002年被Borland收購）工作，對TogetherSoft公司早期的成功作出了主要貢獻，並和Peter Coad一起寫了《Java Design》一書。Jon有超過15年的經驗，研發領域包括飛機發動機、實時飛行模擬器、IBM的製造系統...等等。Jon現在在Compuware公司就職。Compuware是著名MDA工具OptimalJ的開發廠商。
