Altium Designer高階功能初探之:匹配線長

Matched Length design in Altium Designer

Altium Designer中的線長匹配設計


Along with high speed signal existing in the PCB Board, so we need consider the impedance matching. Sometime we need add the discrete component to get the matched length.

隨著PCB印製板中高速訊號的出現,阻抗匹配變進入了我們的考慮範圍之內。有時我們甚至需要新增分立元件,以求達到線長匹配的要求。

  1. In schematic, just like the below screenshot:
1、在原理圖中,就像下面的截圖:

     2. After update to PCB, we can do the routing which required the length matched.

 2、更新PCB後,我們可以對有長度要求的走線進行佈線。


    3. In PCB Editor, By going to the bottom right corner, PCB>PCB panel, we can find the nets details as following:

  3、在PCB編輯器中,在右下方,PCB>PCB panel中,我們可以找到如下網路資訊:


    4. By perform Place>Line to connect the discrete components, such as R1,R2,R3:

4、應用Place>Line 來將分立器件連線起來,如 R1,R2,R3:

  5. Perform "Design>Netlist>Configure Physical Nets" to make the different nets in the discrete components in the same net(new name will locate in the "New Net Name list"), then click "Execute>continue" command:

5、應用"Design>Netlist>Configure Physical Nets"來使分立器件中不同的網路成為同一個網路(新的網路名在"New Net Name list"那一列中),然後點選"Execute>continue"命令按鈕。



     6. New Net details just like below:

6、新的網路資訊就好像下面一樣:

    7. Now, we'll do the length matched. 3466.475 will the target length. Perform Tools>Interactive Length Turing, click the line at the left of the R1, Length tuning dialogue will appear:

7、現在,我們來完成長度匹配。將長度設定為3466.475mil。應用Tools>Interactive Length Turing,點選R1左邊的走線,如下的長度調整對話方塊就會出現:


   8. Click "From Net" then choose the longest one, and do some simple setting with the pattern, Increment and so on. Now, click OK and move your mouse to finish the length tuning. BTW, during the running, ",",".","1","2","3" can do some adjusting for the length, other nets can do the length matched in the same way.

8、點選 "From Net"然後選擇最長的走線,並且對模式,增量以及其他條目進行一些簡單設定。現在,點選OK並且移動你的滑鼠來完成長度調整。BTW,在進行過程中, ",",".","1","2","3"等按鍵可以對線長進行調整,其他的網路可以用相同的方式來做長度匹配。


  9. After finish all of the length tuning, delete all of the auxiliary lines now:

9、當完成所有走線長度的調整後,現在可以將所有輔助走線刪去:


  10. Design>Import Changes from ***.PrjPCB

10、Design>Import Changes from ***.PrjPCB


11. Nets will be recovered to be the original. Also the length should be matched.

11、網路號將恢復至原來的樣子,走線長度此時也將匹配了。
