| 會議背景介紹： | Global optimization is a multi-disciplinary research field that deals with the characterization and computation of global minima and/or maxima of nonlinear, nonconvex, nonsmooth and discrete functions. Global optimization problems are frequently encountered in modeling real world systems for a very broad range of applications including aerospace and civil engineering, chemical and process engineering, computational biology and bioinformatics, computational materials science, clustering and pattern recognition, computer vision and robotics, cryptography and data mining, electrical and control engineering, information and technology management, industrial and systems engineering, communication and information network design, intelligent information and security, management science and operations research, mathematical economics and financial engineering, mechanical and structural engineering, neuroscience and cognition, refining and petrochemicals, reliability and quality engineering, signal and image processing, tomography and seismic optimization, production planning and scheduling, transportation and logistics, etc. With the rapid development and deployment of practical global optimization methodologies in the last thirty years, more and more scientists in diverse disciplines have been using global optimization techniques and algorithms to solve their respective problems. Global optimization is playing a pivoting role in the development of modern engineering and sciences. The field has become mature enough to call for the establishment of a world congress. |

| 會議背景介紹： | The organizing committee and our local organizers wish to extend to you our personal welcome to attend the 2009 International Conference on Intelligent Human-Machine Systems and Cybernetics (IHMSC’09) which will be held at Hangzhou, China in 22-23, August 2009. An exciting and comprehensive program highlighting many state-of-the-art scientific and technological advances is planned. The subjects include computational intelligence, knowledge discovery and data mining, intelligent information systems, web mining, synthesis and analysis of complex objects, non-conventional models of computation, structure of regulatory systems, control theory and systems theory. Interdisciplinary research will be given a special emphasis. Sharing research and experiences and openly discussing problems will be strongly encouraged in all scientific sessions. 為促進國內計算語言學的研究和應用，加強同行間的學術交流與合作，中國中文資訊學會決定於2009年7月24日—26日在美麗的海濱城市煙臺市與魯東大學聯合舉辦“全國第十屆計算語言學學術會議(CNCCL-2009)”。會議論文的正式語言為中文與英文。會議向全國徵集有關計算語言學、自然語言理解、機器翻譯、語言資訊處理應用系統等方面的論文

Artificial intelligence and education are becoming increasingly interesting to both the academic researchers and medical practitioners. It is essential to exploremedical artificial intelligence and education from the theoretical viewpoint.The 2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education(ICAIE 2009) provides two day’s focus on the science and technology that are the basis for the artificialintelligence and education. The theme of the plenary session is “e-Learning platforms and tools, artificial iIntelligence and open learning and new generations of educational technologies” featuring invited speakers who will further explore this topic that is so significant for artificialintelligence and education. Concurrent sessions and a poster session will cover a wide range of topics and issues, including both contributed papers and special sessions developed on specific themes, all with a central focus on artificialintelligence and education.
2008 International Colloquium on Artificial Intelligence in Education (ICAIE 2008) was held on 17-18 October,2008 in Wuhan.In the late of December,2008, all the papers pulished in the ICAIE 2008 proceedings was indexed by ISTP.In order to attract more authors and attenders,The name of ICAIE 2009 has been changed to 2009 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Education.We also assure that the proceedings of ICAIE 2009 will be indexed by ISTP.
ICAIE 2008 於2008年10月17-18日在武漢召開，會議召開後兩個月，所有由World Academic Press出版的會議論文已經全部被ISTP收錄。2009年為了擴大影響，會議名稱更改為

2009國際建模、計算、模擬、優化及其應用學術會議(第二屆國際建模、計算、模擬、優化及其應用學術會議)

會議背景介紹：
隨著上屆聯合會議的成功召開（50多個國家和地區的320名代表，150位境外代表，參加了現場會議，700名通訊代表在論文集發表論文進行書面交流）, 2009建模、計算、模擬、優化及其應用學術會議(第二屆國際建模、計算、模擬、優化及其應用學術會議)主會場將在英國曼徹斯特大學舉行。中國因故不能參加現場會議的代表可以作為通訊代表，註冊費酌情減少1/2至1/3，通訊代表聯絡地點為：210094 南京 南京理工大學 應用數學系 俞軍。會議列入IEEE計劃，會議部分錄用的論文由其出版論文集A輯並由其安排EI檢索（按照慣例，基本可以被EI收錄），其它錄用的論文仍然由上屆會議的世界學術出版社出版B輯並提交ISTP、EI檢索（上屆聯合會議1030篇論文已經100%被ISTP收錄。EI是否收錄還沒確定）。對錄用的論文我們將在發放錄用通知時通知論文將被安排在A輯或B輯發表。
本次會議為應用數學、計算數學、工程數學、資訊與計算科學領域的科教人員、工程技術以及工程、技術、工業、經濟、衛生、管理、金融、農林、體育等領域提供一個於奧運會前在奧運會主辦國進行學術交流與建立友誼的平臺。會議特別鼓勵來自工程、技術、工業、經濟、衛生、管理、金融、農林等領域的科研工作者、工程師和研究生交流具有鮮明應用特色的論文和成果（包括優秀數學建模作品、模擬軟體應用作品）。
歡迎論文作者和非論文作者參加會議。
註冊費：20-22日報告會（曼城）250英鎊+VAT（含一篇論文版面費），通訊代表1500元/篇（B輯），2000元/篇（A輯）。23-25日交流會（牛津/劍橋/倫敦/等）250英鎊。

第一階段徵文已經於2008年12月31日結束。

With the development of multimedia technology and network technology, multimedia services become more and more popular. In nowadays, multimedia information refers not only to text, image or video but also to flash, web, 3D data, etc. Multimedia information is networked in various modes, e.g., fixed network, wireless network, mobile network, etc. Multimedia information may be generated, processed, transmitted, retrievaled, consumed or shared in various environments. Additionally, security becomes an important issue for information networking. During the past decades, many works have been done in multimedia information networking and security.
MINES 2009 aims to provide a platform for worldwide researchers and engineers to exchange the latest research results on multimedia information services, with the focuses on networking and security.

| 會議背景介紹： | 第二屆亞洲演算法與計算協會年會（The 2nd Annual Meeting of Asian Association for Algorithms and Computation，簡稱AAAC’09）將於2009年4月11-12日在杭州花家山莊召開。本次會議由日本京都大學Kazuo Iwama教授擔任程式委員會主席，浙江大學張國川教授擔任組織委員會主席。AAAC是亞洲演算法與計算協會舉辦的年度學術會議。首屆會議於2008年4月在香港大學舉行。會議的宗旨是促進亞洲演算法領域的學者進行廣泛的學術交流。 |
| 徵文範圍及要求： | Topics All areas of theoretical computer science, especially design and analysis of algorithms and complexity theory. Submissions Authors are invited to submit one-page abstracts (A4, PDF-files are strongly preferred) that can be based on original results or survey of existing results. Informal working notes including the one-page abstracts will be distributed at the meeting, which does not prevent any form of future publication on the same work. |
