The number of possible slaves is determined by the total number of input and outputbytes. As a rule, many PROFIBUS PA devices (few I/O bytes) or a limited numberof remote I/O (many I/O bytes) can be connected to the bus.

LED status displays
LED狀態顯示燈
After having been switched on, the CI 772 PROFIBUS module performs a self-testduring power-up. If the test is successfully performed, the yellow LED RDY lightsup, if not, the LED starts to flash and the initialization is aborted. If the LED RDYdoes not light up at all, the PROFIBUS module is probably defective. Duringinitialization, with newly configured modules or after a change of the operatingmode, all LEDs may light up briefly before reaching the defined status.
送電後，CI 772模板開始自檢。如果自檢成功執行，黃色的RDY(準備好）燈亮起，如果自檢沒通過，starts閃爍，終止初始化工作。如果RDY燈沒有亮起，可能是這個PROFIBUS模組由問題。在初始化過程中，使用新配置的模組或在操作模式更改後，所有 LED 可能會在達到定義狀態之前短暫亮起。
